Currently Available For Immediate Delivery This is a 40' x 34' hand-scribed 2-story log home shell using dead standing Englemann Spruce with butt ends ranging from 23" to 26". THESE ARE HUGE LOGS AND THE PHOTOS DON'T DO JUSTICE TO THE MAGNITUDE OF THEIR SIZE!! Very few homes utilize logs of this size and this quality. THIS IS NOT A CHINKED HOME!! This home is equal in quality to those brought in from Canada with a significant cost savings. Each log is a full length, cut and fitted log. All of our notches are done by hand with a Norwegian saddle notch and scarfing that facilitates the shedding of water. We use an over-scribe technique to maintain a tight fit for generations to come. Our lateral grooves are hand fitted by using a round or scoop adz to prevent future splitting of the logs. Unlike most homes, our foundation log is a full log that is notched to fit and overhang the foundation so there will be no chance of leakage or rotting of a flat sitting foundation log. Each log is perfectly and exactly scribed to the log below so there will be NO GAPS. We build only 3 or 4 homes per year which makes us very quality conscious in the homes that we produce. THE FOLLOWING IS INCLUDED IN THIS SHELL PACKAGE OPTIONS * Labor for reassembly beyond the 250 miles radius - rates vary by location
THE FOLLOWING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS HOME * The crane required for the re-assembly of your log shell Available Floor Plan For This Home
